Standing in the baby section of the local retailer and you see about 15+ choices of diaper creams and baby wipes. The price ranges by brands and sizes. Am I getting the best deal here or should I get it from somewhere else?
That’s the question I always ask myself, but usually I need it for home when I’m getting it. Instead of purchasing these items whenever I need it, I planned ahead to see who has the best prices. The price comparison helps me plan where to get the items from, rather then pick it up from the retail store I’m at.
My diaper purchases I plan out better than the diaper cream and wipe purchases, but you can view my diaper price comparison if you want to see who was cheapest! The price comparison charts that I’ve made for the diaper creams and wipes, helps analyze where to purchase the products that you will use the most with your baby!
Babies skin is so sensitive that using the wrong baby wipe on their bottom can irritate the skin! I personally use the pampers sensitive wipes with my daughter. I tried switching to the huggies natural clean, but her butt immediately turned red!
Like my diaper price comparison article, I compared Desitin Max Strength, Desitin Regular, Aquaphor Baby, and A&D Original for the diaper cream. For the baby wipes, I compared Pampers Sensitive wipes, Pampers Regular Natural Clean, and Huggies Simply Clean Unscented. I was going to include Kirkland brand, but that can only be found in certain online retailers. I wanted to pick brands that could be found at all of the online retailers.
See the product at the end of this article that EVERY family with a baby should have!
Diaper Cream Price Comparison:
The price per ounce for diaper creams are usually less the larger size you get. But it’s a matter of convenience for the size diaper cream you want to buy. That is why I included multiple sizes that are available. Like the diapers, it is less expensive to buy with Amazon Subscribe and Save, but that service requires a subscription fee for Amazon Prime or Amazon Family.
I have also found that the prices seem to vary on Amazon from week to week. One month, my purchase for the diaper cream might be more expensive and then the next month, it’ll be cheaper!
Baby Wipes Price Comparison:
The price per wipe prices vary, but Amazon Subscribe and Save is the cheapest route for all the baby wipe brands.
Requirements for Amazon Subscribe and Save
The caveat of using Amazon subscribe and save is that you have to be an Amazon family member or Amazon Prime member. Each of these services cost money to be a member, but includes additional benefits on top of saving 20% on diapers and other baby products. You can read about each of these services by clicking on the banner I’ve included below.
Sign up for a free 30-day trail for either service to try it out and discover the savings your family can have!
Already a member?
If you are already an Amazon Prime member, it is absolutely worth buying your diapers and other diaper time purchases through the subscribe and save services! You never have to worry about having those big diaper boxes in your cart at the store and it beats out any of the other online services!
Not a member yet?
If you aren’t already a member of Amazon Prime or Amazon Family, I did do the math. It takes roughly 13 months to be worth getting the service just to benefit from the diaper savings! It goes a lot quicker to be worth getting if you order more than just diapers!
Both Amazon Prime and Amazon Family offer free 30 day trials to see if it’s worth your time! Click on the banners above to see the savings yourself! There’s nothing to lose!
Extra Savings from the other online retailers:
The prices I used are based on if you used your debit card AND opted out of free returns. Also, as you buy more of something, the price per unit goes down ever so slightly (not making a huge difference in the price per ounce or wipe) They also offer 15% off your first three orders. Pair that with Ibotta (get 5% cash back from purchases with Jet.com) and you’ll have the same price as Amazon subscribe and save in the first 3 orders! (Ebates only gives 3% cash back and Swagbucks gives 2% cash back with orders on Jet.com)
This is a newer wholesale priced website similar to Jet.com. You can get 15% off on the website by using their code they provide. You can also open the Boxed.com app through Ibotta and receive 15% cash back in your Ibotta account. Unfortunately, you can’t combine the two (at least I haven’t found a way to include the discount code in an app purchase).
Diapers.com offers a 20% off coupon your first purchase but the discount excludes diapers, wipes, and formula but with your first purchase you receive a box of diapers and $10 off your next purchase. This coupon won’t help make the wipes any cheaper if you regularly purchase from their site, but you can find many other baby products!
Target usually has an offer in-store and online if you buy so many packages of wipes, you get a free giftcard for the store. This offer ranges and is not always available on all brands! Target.com also a subscription for baby products like wipes and diaper cream. You receive 5% off your purchase and that coupled with the Target redcard’s 5% discount, you’ll get 10% off your baby subscriptions! Target occasionally has offers for the baby wipes or cream on their cartwheel app or mobile coupons offered if you sign up for their mobile offers! I’ve been able to purchase some majorly discounted baby products just by watching their ads!
Also, at Target and Walmart you can always find coupons for the brands online! Manufacturer coupons paired with Target coupons, cartwheel deals, and the Target red card gives you some of the best deals!
This product is amazing! You think it’s no big deal to wipe diaper cream on your baby’s butt with your fingers, but once you use the baby bum brush, you’ll never want diaper cream on your hand again! Seriously, I recommend this product to every mom who has a kid in diapers and uses diaper cream! I have 2 burshes; 1 for the diaper bag and 1 for the changing station. This brush has great reviews online! Check out the reviews!
